The short version
- Your data goes to your employer’s Odoo, not to us. The app talks directly to the Odoo server your company runs. We do not operate a server that receives your attendance, time off, expense or asset data.
- Location only when you check in or out. Your location is read at the moment you tap Check in or Check out. Teemzapp never tracks you in the background.
- No ads, no analytics, no selling. Teemzapp contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking tools, and we never sell or rent personal information.

Teemzapp is a business app. You can only sign in with an account that your employer has created for you in their Odoo system. Your employer decides what information is kept in Odoo, who can see it and how long it is kept, so your employer is responsible for that data. We provide the app that lets you reach it.
How Teemzapp works
When you first open the app, you (or your company) enter the address of your company’s Odoo server and its database name. After you sign in, every request goes straight from your phone to that server. Information you see in the app, such as your profile, time off balances or expenses, is loaded from that server, and anything you submit is saved there.

Location
Teemzapp asks for location permission “while using the app” only. When you tap Check in or Check out, the app reads your current position once and sends it to your company’s Odoo together with the attendance record, so your employer can confirm where you checked in.
- The app does not collect location in the background or when it is closed.
- To show a readable address (for example, a city or area), your phone’s built-in address lookup service converts the coordinates. On Android this is provided by Google; on iPhone by Apple. Their own privacy policies apply to that lookup.
- If you deny location permission, you can still check in without location. Your employer may have its own rules about that.
Camera, photos and files
- QR code scanning: the camera is used to read the QR code on an asset. The image is processed on your phone and is not saved or sent anywhere; only the code it contains is used to look up the asset.
- Photos and documents: when you add an attachment (for example, a receipt or a medical certificate), only the photo you take or the files you pick are uploaded to your company’s Odoo. The app does not browse or upload anything else from your gallery or storage.
What is stored on your device
- The server address and database name, your login name, and whether you completed the introduction screens.
- A session cookie from your company’s Odoo, so you stay signed in.
- Basic details of your session (such as your name and company) to open the app quickly.
- If you turn on “Keep me signed in”, your password, encrypted by your phone’s secure storage (Android Keystore or the iOS Keychain). It is used only to sign you back in automatically when your Odoo session expires. If you turn the option off or sign out, the saved password is removed.
- Files you open from the app may be kept temporarily in the app’s cache folder so another app can display them.
Other services the app uses
- Your company’s Odoo server: operated by your employer or their hosting provider. Its privacy practices are set by your employer.
- Google Fonts: the app downloads its typefaces from Google’s font servers the first time they are needed. Google receives standard technical information such as your IP address when the font files are requested.
- Address lookup: provided by your phone’s operating system, as described in section 4 (Location).
What we do not do
- We do not show advertising.
- We do not include analytics, crash-reporting or tracking tools that send your data to us or to third parties.
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
Security
The app communicates with your company’s Odoo over an encrypted HTTPS connection when the server supports it, and stores saved passwords only in your phone’s secure storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and the security of the Odoo server itself is managed by your employer.
Keeping and deleting data
- On your device: signing out removes your session and saved password. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your phone.
- In your company’s Odoo: attendance, time off, expenses, assets and attachments are kept according to your employer’s policies. To see, correct or delete this information, contact your employer’s HR team or Odoo administrator.
- Teemzapp does not let you create an account; accounts are created and deleted by your employer in Odoo.
Your choices and rights
- You can allow or deny location, camera and photo access at any time in your phone’s settings. Features that need a permission will ask again or work without it where possible.
- You can choose not to use “Keep me signed in”.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to how it is used. Because your employer controls the data in Odoo, please send these requests to your employer first. You can also contact us using the details below, and we will help where we can.
Children
Teemzapp is a workplace app intended for employees. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The latest version is always available at this address, with the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change significantly affects how your information is handled, we will tell you in the app or in the app store release notes.
